Estrogen makes women have soft skin and curves, high lilting voices, and breasts.

In the skin, estrogens affect skin thickness, wrinkle formation and skin moisture. Estrogens can increase glycosaminoglycans (GAGs), such as Hyaluronic Acid, to maintain fluid balance and structural integrity. They can also increase collagen production in the skin, where they maintain epidermal thickness and allow skin to remain plump, hydrated and wrinkle-free.

Women are more neotenous than men, meaning that they retain more juvenile physical features into adulthood. This includes softer/thinner/smoother skin, as well as smaller stature, higher pitched voices, less body hair, different head and jaw shape, etc.
- Women who retained these features into adulthood were more likely to breed, since these characteristics signaled youthful fertility.
- Men were selected to be less neotenous than women since less neoteny allows for men to grow larger and more muscular (along with thicker, denser bones and a higher pain tolerance), providing a benefit to males competing with each other for mates.
- Women with more neotenous features were more likely to trigger protective instincts in others (piggybacking on preexisting child-protection instincts).

Different opinions and theories on this forum. Here are a few examples:
1-Primarily estrogen, it’s the cause for softer skin, extra fat deposits, and some female features.
2-Estrogen helps the body to place more fat deposits under the skin, thins the skin and blood vessels. As to where the deposits are: most people agree that they are well placed to protect the baby during pregnancy & to help men find us more attractive.
3-Women have this extra layer of fat under the skin which makes their skin softer than men’s skin. In addition, women also have more body fat than men because they are the ones who carry the baby through pregnancy and fat is nature’s way of reserving energy because a woman’s body needs to nurture both the baby and the carrier.
4-Ultimately it goes back to having XX rather than XY sex chromosomes…
5-To make them cuddly…
–why women’s body so soft comparing to men?
In addition to regulating the menstrual cycle, estrogen affects the reproductive tract, the urinary tract, the heart and blood vessels, bones, breasts, skin, hair, mucous membranes, pelvic muscles, and the brain.
