CASAL DI PRINCIPE, Naples, Italy — Thousands of people were seen taking to the streets of Casal di Principe, Naples, Italy, to watch bride Elena De Angelis’ wedding dress and her 1.8-MILE (3 km) veil, (designed by Gianni Molaro Campania) which required 600 people to carry the headpiece – setting the world record for the Longest wedding dress veil, according to World Records Academy (www.worldrecordsacademy.org)

The Guinness world record for the longest wedding dress train measured 2488.65 m (8,164 ft 10 in) and was created by Lichel van den Ende (Netherlands).
