Ever Heard Of Female Angels?

Angels are almost always male and are referred to as the sons of god. Although Zechariah 5:9  is the only reference to 2 female angels are seen with wings of crane.

Zechariah 5:9  Then I lifted up my eyes and looked, and there two women were coming out with the wind in their wings; and they had wings like the wings of a stork, and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heavens.

Everyone has their own interpretations, theories and beliefs on this subject. This passage was written hundreds or maybe thousands of years ago.

“Croix”, photography by @bigbaddwolv. Model unknown.

Who knows?.. this might have been copied like the others (Ancient literature) and heavily edited based on that time mind set and agenda. Most historians in the past were men or monks if I do recall correctly. – Sola

I find this photo above quite curious as to why the original artist would put straps on the back of the wings?

The Winged Victory of Samothrace, also called the Nike of Samothrace, is a 2nd-century BC marble sculpture of the Greek goddess Nike.
